Pay: £23.33 per hour

2 days on site per week, wednesdays and thursdays
x 3 Locum Social Workers required to support City Locality Team covering Hereford City and wider areas in Herefordshire.

Needed for interim basis asap – initially 3 months, likely to extend, subject to appointment of Permanent Social Workers.

Desirable:
Will require minimum experience of 5 years in Adult Social Care, covering at least 50% of the following areas:
• Older People and Young Adults groups.
• Physical Health, ABI, Mental Health, Learning Disability, Autism, Complex work, other.
• Safeguardings, Court of Protection, Community DoLS
• Multi-Disciplinary Team working
• Care Planning – Assessment, Review, Splan, Personal Budgets and Budget requests.

Essential:
• Education: A recognised Social Work qualification (BA/MA/CQSW/DipSW).
• Registration: Current registration with Social Work England.
• DBS Check: A cleared, Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
• Knowledge: Understanding of the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005 as well as other relevant legislation.

Hybrid working commitments:
• Located within 1.5hour distance into Hereford City, if commuting.
• Need to be able to work full time 37 hours a week.
• Need to be able to be in office and on site 2 days a week minimum (Weds and Thurs are office days for the team).
• Need to be available for Duty visits if required on duty days.
