Vacancy to cover reception at Rhondda Heritage Park

Rhondda Heritage Park requires a two day receptionist to cover a vacant post. Days required to work are a regular Friday and Saturday.

What you will deliver:

1. To undertake general administration duties such as dealing with post, and associated work.
2. To use and be competent with computerised systems including stock system online bookings and retail system.
3. To take bookings for admissions both on line and in person and update associated paperwork.
4.To work alongside permanent staff providing additional support as necessary to meet fluctuating levels of user demand.
5. To answer visitor enquiries in relation to Rhondda Heritage Park and its facilities and activities developing a knowledge and understanding of the venue to transfer to users and actively promote the venue.
6. To be point of contact for all visitors to the Park.
7. To answer telephones and re route calls as appropriate.
8. To maintain stock levels in retail area and keep area to a clean standard
9. To work in other areas on event days on site as requested.
To undertake such other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the grade, as may be reasonably required by the Service Director, or as a mutually agreed development opportunity.
To comply with the Council’s Health and Safety Policies and procedures and undertake any relevant health and safety duties in accordance with local arrangements.
To support the Council to play its part in tackling Climate Change and meeting its Carbon Reduction targets across the services it delivers and also in the goods and services it buys or commissions from other organisations.

This should be done via the person’s Line Manager, Designated Safeguarding Lead or contact the Cwm Taf Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub.
