Full time-36 hour role with hybrid working and two office days.
Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Practitioner to cover a one-year maternity leave for the OT role in the West Locality Occupational Therapy Team.
This long-term complex team works primarily on major adaptations via the Disabled Facilities Grant pathway and the assessment and provision of complex equipment, including manual handling equipment, with a focus on supporting service users to remain safe and independent at home.
Key aspect of the role is to complete occupational therapy assessments in the home environment and recommend equipment and minor and major adaptations for Adults living in the community.
Applicants must be HCPC-registered Occupational Therapists with experience in assessing adults in their own homes and recommending equipment including manual handling equipment and adaptations.
