Role outline: Innovation Lead
Reports to: Practice and Improvement Lead
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Rate: £450 – £550 per day
Contract: – 6-9 months
Location: – Office based in Plymouth two days per week with home working option remaining days
Person specification:
• An experienced and qualified social worker, you will be a motivational communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• You will model and lead a restorative and strengths based approach to professional relationships and practice, building confidence in staff to work and think creatively and support practical and effective work to identify and achieve the best outcomes for children and young people at pace. Creative and innovative approach to your work and interaction with individuals and teams.
• You will lead a small project team and react confidently and pro-actively in a rapidly changing environment bringing expertise and leadership to support the work streams above and other priorities that may develop.
• You will combine all our values with your comprehensive and innovative practice experience and creative mind-set, focussing on working alongside staff to coordinate and facilitate innovative, dynamic and pragmatic solutions, broadening the variety of ways that help and support is offered and what it looks like.
• You will use a big picture thinking approach to work collaboratively to understand complex issues, develop ideas and build creative responses, delivering new ways of working.
