Salary: £9.25

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining a high level of general maintenance and cleanliness and ensure a friendly and efficient service to the public.
The post holder will provide customer service support to individual and group patrons of assigned facility/facilities, to help ensure visitor comfort, safety and enjoyment.

Post 1: 37 hours per week
Post 2: 22.5 hours per week

Posts 1*– Fixed shift Pattern:
Monday: Off
Tuesday: 2.00pm to 10.00pm (8)
Wednesday: 2.00pm to 10.00pm (8)
Thursday: 2.00pm to 10.00pm (8)
Friday: 2.00pm to 10.00pm (8)
Saturday: 9.00am to 5.00pm (8)
Sunday: Off

**The post holder(s) will be required to remain at the onsite/ on duty, during contracted hours, until 10.00pm (Tuesday – Friday) and 5.00pm (Saturday), as applicable, however if there are bookings after this time the post holder will be required to remain onsite / on duty until all bookings are completed.

Posts 2*– Fixed shift Pattern:
Monday: Off
Tuesday: 6.00pm – 9.30pm
Wednesday: 6.00pm – 9.30pm
Thursday: 6.00pm – 9.30pm
Friday: Off
Saturday: 10.00am – 5.00pm
Sunday: 12 midday- 5pm

**The post holder(s) will be required to remain at the onsite/ on duty, during contracted hours, until 9.30pm (Tuesday – Friday) and 5.00pm (Saturday/ Sunday), as applicable, however if there are bookings after this time the post holder will be required to remain onsite / on duty until all bookings are completed.

*All shifts are inclusive of breaks (where applicable), which must be taken on duty/ on-site.

Posts 1: Location is Newry Leisure Centre/Tennis Bubble, this post will work across the Council District of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, as required including St Colman’s (Sports Complex).
Posts 2: Location is St Colman’s Sports Centre, Newry, this post will work across the Council District of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, as required including St Colman’s (Sports Complex).

Whilst the current vacant post is based in Newry Leisure Centre/Tennis Bubble and St Colmans Sports Centre, Newry suitable candidates who are placed on a reserve list may be offered a similar post in other Council locations.
