Average of 20 hours per week – NMDDC will provide contractual hours of 20 hours per week, but due to operational reasons the shift /working pattern cannot be guaranteed and your contracted hours will be varied on a weekly basis, to include day/evening and weekend working in order to meet operational requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
⦁ To act as senior person on site in full charge of facilities as per rota.
⦁ To be responsible for overall security of facilities and, as key holder, respond to alarm callouts.
⦁ To ensure staff rotas and shifts are adequately covered for day to day absences.
⦁ To be responsible for cash handling, managing bookings and other administration duties.
⦁ To actively participate in the review and implementation of the Services quality systems.
⦁ To contribute to the promotion of Leisure Services.
⦁ Acting as a competent person carry out planned and operational maintenance as instructed by Maintenance officer and report defects.
⦁ To carry out all tasks required of a Leisure Assistant.
⦁ To be responsible for the safe handling, erecting, dismantling and storage of equipment.
⦁ To ensure that corporate policies and procedures are adhered to at all times including induction and training of new staff as required.
⦁ To maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene, ensuring the safe handling and storage of chemicals in accordance with COSHH.
⦁ To contribute to Corporate, Departmental and Regional working groups as required.
⦁ To assist with the implementation of the Council’s Emergency Plan when required.

Experience:
⦁ At least 6 months relevant experience in a customer facing role. [Essential]
⦁ At least 1 years’ experience in a customer facing role. [Desirable]
⦁ Experience of staff supervision. [Essential]
⦁ Experience of planning and implementing staff rotas. [Essential]
⦁ Previous experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications (which includes Word and Excel). [Essential]
⦁ Experience of keeping and maintaining associated records in a work environment. [Essential]
