Working pattern: full time
Office location: Clapham or Drayton
Working arrangements: Hybrid – currently this is mostly working from home, but the candidate will need to be available to travel to either Clapham/Drayton for monthly meetings.

The Highways Hub Administrator is based in the Highways Customer Service Hub, which is the team that brings the customer to the heart of the Highways Service and provides a voice for the customer. The key objective of the team is to ‘manage customer expectations’ and deliver an efficient customer journey within financial constraints. The role is responsible for processing claims for compensation for personal injury or damage caused during a Highway related incident such as hitting a pothole. You will also be required to process pothole reports leasing with the depots and keeping customers informed.

Candidates must have experience of working in a customer service role, providing information, resolving queries and prioritising work Previous experience of working in an office environment is required.

Level of Knowledge
 Literacy, numeracy and communication skills sufficient to follow procedures for a
range of support tasks.
 Sound and accurate I.T. knowledge, e.g. use of Trading Standards databases and
software and Microsoft Office in order to carry out service processes.

Qualifications and Professional Membership
 4 GCSEs with A-C passes including Maths and English or equivalent qualification or
experience demonstrating that level of numeracy and literacy.

Experience
 Experience of working in a customer service role, providing information, resolving
queries and prioritising work
 Previous experience of working in an office environment.
