The post holder will be responsible for the management of our Health Transport Request Inbox, inputting requests directly into our system (called Trapeze, no previous experience of this system is expected).
The post holder will also be asked to help other team members organise transport for eligible Social Care and Health services users into a wide variety of settings within a given geographical area of Somerset. The post holder will be involved with the tendering and management of contacts as well as helping to oversee the daily schedules of Volunteer Drivers. This will involve close liaison with Transport Providers, Childrens and Adult Services, Carers and NHS colleagues.
Working Arrangements – can work from home, however will be required to attend County Hall occasionally for training and line management meetings, (these take place every six weeks).
Key Qualities – candidates must have excellent attention to detail and maintain a high level of accuracy when entering Transport Requests. The post holder should also be confident using IT systems, including Microsoft WORD, Excel and Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication is required for this role

Qualification/Knowledge/Experience/Skills
