Salary: £35,235 – £39,513 (plus market supplement of £5,000 per year)

The role
We are looking for experienced Social Workers to help us on our improvement journey.
We currently have vacancies in the MASH team.

MASH is the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub based at Plough Lane. You will be office based working alongside colleagues from Health, Education and Police. You will be part of a team that screens all referrals and make recommendations of how to proceed within tight timescales. You will need the skills of communicating with service users, colleagues and agencies.
MASH Social Workers will also screen police notifications of domestic abuse incidents and discuss these as part of the domestic abuse hub with other partner agencies from health, police, education, early help and Women’s Aid.

You will be fully qualified (DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent), with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in statutory social care. With honed skills in assessment, report writing, and managing a complex caseload, you will be dedicated to improving the lives of children and families within Herefordshire.
