Experience of contract management in large complex organisations.

Exposure and delivery of IT and Digital related procurements and purchasing.

Experience of sourcing and delivering IT related procurements, on time and to budget.

Working with the Procurement and Contracts Manager, deliver successful procurements of specific IT & Digital solutions, including but not limited to Lewisham Homes. This also includes sourcing, purchasing, procurement and effective contract management. Experience in delivering different aspects of the procurement process, through requirement gathering, identifying the route to market, to evaluation, moderation, contract award and overseeing delivery of the contract.

Delivering customer focused services across complex organisations, dealing with many stakeholders, often with conflicting priorities.

Experience of undertaking small to medium size contractual negotiations, with an understanding of the impact of terms and conditions, indemnity, liabilities, warranties, performance insurance and termination clauses etc.

Experience of ensuring that the Council are adequately protected and have the ability to invoke any contractual remedies if required.

Forward planning, anticipating changing priorities, different technology solutions, organisational change, predict and deliver future service requirements within the Procurement and Contracts function.

Delivering to relevant performance standards as set out by senior managers, including the Head of IT and Digital Services.

Monitoring and managing IT and Digital supplier delivery of contracts by managing KPI’s and SLA performance. Escalation by Business areas for non delivery or performance. Implementing and delivering on service improvements within the IT Procurement and Contracts function across the council.

Appropriate experience to challenge, support, advise, influence and engage senior stakeholders regarding IT Procurement and Contract management.

Consideration of risks and how to manage and mitigate across IT and Digital Service outsourced supplier contracts.

Working with Finance team, ensure effective and efficient billing for all IT services that are recharged to service areas, including the Shared Technology Service.

Monitor IT supplier invoices and ensure their accuracy, in particular or bills variable according to usage and terms of contracts.
