Cleansing
JOB PURPOSE
To carry out a variety of tasks relating to street cleaning duties, including (but not limited to) litter picking, manual and mechanical sweeping, graffiti/ fly-posting removal, emptying litter and dogbins, collection of needles from the public highway, fly-tipping removal, weed spraying and removal, removing dead animals and faeces, and leaf removal.

Drive and maintain a variety of vehicles to facilitate the above duties.
Manual and mechanical street cleansing operations
Street washing
Removal of graffiti and fly-posting
Weed spraying operations
Weed removal operations
Emptying of bins and waste removal
Leaf collection

Qualifications
All: Full current driving licence

Experience
Experience in working outdoors in all weathers
Experienced in working on own initiative and on the spot decision making including dynamic risk assessments.
Previous experience operating plant and cleansing vehicles
