The appointment is in a locality social work team based at Maltby Joint Service Centre. The role requires case management of children who are subject to child in need plans, child protection plans, Public Law Outline, care proceedings and children who are looked after by the local authority.

This includes:
Assessment of children’s needs and risks presented to children, and the capacity of parents and carers to meet needs and protect from harm in the context of their wider family and environment.

Development and of plans to ensure the child’s basic needs are met and they are protected from harm.

Identification and delivery of appropriate intervention and resources.
