MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
To provide high quality administrative support to SENISS and the Speech and Language Communication Service.

To manage appointments and electronic diaries to ensure that up to date information regarding staff availability/whereabouts is available at all times.

To ensure that accurate information is recorded on relevant IT systems and undertake a support function and link with the Strategic Intelligence Team on the management and utilisation of data.

To liaise with schools, head teachers, SENCOs and other professionals within Children and Young People’s Service and partner agencies to ensure that policy and practice in relation to Early Help is communicated effectively.

To create, manage and keep up to date electronic filing systems pertinent to the needs of the services.
To maintain databases and records on a weekly basis for contracts and Service Level
Agreements, raising invoices, tracking payments and keeping accurate financial
records.

To co-ordinate the processing of orders and the issuing and payment of invoices for
the SEN Assessment and Pupil Support team using the LCC financial management system, including the tracking of credits and debits.

To assist with the production of financial information for Finance as and when required.

To liaise with professionals on all relevant matters related to financial payments and recoupment.

To provide high quality administrative support to local authority SEN panels including the provision of comprehensive support documentation for each case referred.

To assist the SENISS team manager in the administration of contracts, including monthly updates, raising invoices, ensuring all information is dispatched in a timely manner and maintaining meticulous financial records.

To prepare information packs for training sessions, ensuring all paperwork is available for the trainers.

To maintain accurate records around all training, ensuring bookings are processed, invoices are raised and candidates are kept informed of times, and details of the venues etc.

To assist in the co-ordination and preparation of national and local Performance
Indicators, data retrieval and management information.

To be responsible for minute taking and follow up work from team meetings to include circulation of minutes, inform relevant parties of outcomes and undertake any additional follow up work required.

To contribute to the coaching and development of appropriate staff.

To engage in and contribute to personal development activities and training.

To undertake a support function on information sharing and data protection.

To provide support to other areas of the business unit as and when required.

To maintain confidentiality of information at all times in accordance with the procedures of the Freedom of Information Act and Data Protection Act.
