The post holder will undertake social work assessment and intervention with children and families in the most complex of circumstances, which will necessitate a wide ranging relevant knowledge and skill base. The post holder will also have a significant role in the development and promotion of best practice across a team of Social Workers, supporting the Team Manager with operational management tasks and overseeing and supporting the work of less experienced colleagues, within the team. The primary role of the post holder will be to manage a complex case load, adhering to legislative and procedural requirements and ensuring the best possible outcomes of the children concerned.
