Bluebell House in Ventnor needs short term Domestic Assistants to support the cleanliness and hygiene within this short term placement facility over the next 3 months (at least until end of March 2023) or so to support with winter pressures and enable discharges from the Islands Hospital.

HOURLY RATE: Grade 2a: £10.79 per hour (PAYE)

HOURS: We have 2 contracts available at 15 hours per week but would consider individuals who wanted the full 30 hours instead (happy to be flexible)
Shift Pattern: Likely to be 4 hours per day but happy to discuss start and finish times to suit the individual (between the hours of 9am – 5pm)

We are looking for a confident and experienced Domestic Worker who has experience of COSHH and Infection Prevention and Control in a care home, hospital or similar healthcare environment.

APPLICANTS WILL NEED TO HAVE AN ENHANCED DBS (Adults) – we can potentially undertake this check if needed but preferably applicants will already have been cleared.

Located in Ventnor the home is accessible by public transport so a car is not essential, although those with a car or who live locally will have more freedom to choose hours that suit them.

We are looking to appoint an individual with excellent listening and observational skills. You will have a passion for your vocation and people as well as the ability to prioritise workloads in a busy environment.
