Salary: £10.60

Experience:
• Considerable experience and a working knowledge of waste and recycling collection activities and processes.
• Experience of multi point driving activities and waste & recycling
collection driving duties.
• Experience of customer contact and knowledge of personnel safety issues in a customer environment. (Desirable)
• Experience and a working knowledge of H&S systems. (Desirable)

Knowledge:
• A working knowledge of the range of equipment used by the teams and ability to provide advice on best practice and how to overcome problems.
• Good knowledge of geographical areas and characteristics.

Registrations, Qualifications & Training:
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification or relevant experience in waste & recycling collection systems.
Safety on the Highway.
• HGV/LGV full driving license, category C.
• Health and Safety Certificate to a minimum standard of IOSH ‘Managing Safely’ or equivalent / or commitment to work towards achievement of this certificate.
• Willingness to undertake appropriate waste, health & safety or quality training.
