The Tourism Development Officer is responsible for delivering tourism business development activity from the Selby District Visitor Economy Strategy and Action Plan; supporting local tourism businesses and visitor attractions to reach their full potential.

The role is for a minimum of three months and needs someone with sound experience and understanding of the visitor economy sector. The aim is to support achievable growth and development of the visitor product in Selby District, the Heart of Yorkshire.

You will be comfortable in working with a variety of partners, building relationships with the sector and stakeholders. A degree or significant experience in this field of work is essential.

This is a hybrid role which combines home and office working with some site visits.

PAYE Rate: £18.00 per hour.
