MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The job description refers to the principal duties and responsibilities of the Post. It does not necessarily list in detail all the tasks required to carry out these duties and responsibilities.

⦁ To co-ordinate the development plan for the Fast Track to Care development programme, aiming for one programme per month and to oversee the ongoing programme of activity/events
⦁ To establish and maintain connections with learning providers in order to procure external learning and development where required to meet the needs identified, ensuring all external procurement follows the procurement process and guidelines.
⦁ To continually liaise with training providers, agencies, employers, candidates and team members to ensure the smooth running of the programme
⦁ To work collaboratively with the wider Social Care Workforce Development Team to plan, organise and administer all activity, ensuring all development is setup and recorded on the Learning Management System (LMS) and communicated widely through appropriate communication channels.
⦁ To regularly review and evaluate the progress of programme
⦁ To produce regular reports to internal stakeholders on the progress of the programme
⦁ To undergo relevant personal development and training to work effectively within the Vale of Glamorgan Council.
⦁ To participate in professional supervision and appraisal in line with Departmental policy.
