Social Worker in Family Assessment and Support Team – Children’s Safeguarding Team:
Children’s Social Care provide services which follow from specific legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and the Children Act 2004 as well as other Government guidance and policy. We are committed to providing good quality services to support children young people and their families. To work at all times in line with the Health and Care Professions Council’s Code of Practice.
Enhanced DBS check and registration with SW England required.
This role involves spoken communications, so a confident use of English language is required.
We are looking for qualified social workers who are keen to work with children and their families who are open to the Safeguarding Team. You will be allocated a case load; this will be discussed with you in terms of your area of interest and expertise, and you will be provided a high level of support. You will also work with children who are in care, subject to PLO or in the Court Arena and follow NYCC guidance, the team are experienced therefore if you passion is children’s social work, we can support you if this area is new to you.
