Traffic and Parking require a level 2 qualified Notice Processing Officer to provide responses to informal and formal representations against the issue of a Penalty Charge Notice for a period of 4 to 5 months.
Job Context:
1. The post holder reports to: Process and Debt Recovery Team Leader
2. The post holder has no management or supervisory responsibility
Experience:
• Experience of working in a parking environment or at least 2 years’ experience of working in a customer service environment
• An understanding of applying parking or similar legislation and statutory processes that need to be followed when dealing with high levels of correspondence
• Experience of working in a busy target driven environment with competing demands having the ability to prioritise and manage own workload
• Experience of communicating effectively with members of the public in difficult and challenging situations with the ability to communicate effectively with irate customers who are challenging the issue of PCNs
Qualifications
• City & Guilds (or equivalent) Assured Notice Processing
You must either have this qualification or be prepared to work towards it within the first 6 months of
appointment.
