Job Title : Performance Officer – BR10
Job Category : Interims
Location : Civic Centre, Bromley Council
Hours Per Week : 36.00
Start Date : Immediate Start
Start Time : 08:30
End Time : 17:00
Salary: £19.17

MAIN PURPOSE:
1. To undertake the collection, collation and reporting of data and information to
support performance management of Children and Education or Adults and
Housing services.
2. To provide data and information to support needs analysis, strategy development
and business planning for Children and Education or Adults and Housing services.
3. To support the analysis of data and information which enhances the understanding
of practitioners, managers and elected members in respect of Children and
Education or Adults and Housing services.
4. To undertake the collection, collation and submission of statutory returns and
collections in respect of Children and Education or Adults and Housing services.
5. To provide data and information for the SLA with schools (Children and Education
postholders).
6. To provide data and information in respect of integrated adults and health services
(Adults and Housing postholders)
7. To provide data and information for commissioning and contract monitoring
purposes

SKILLS & ABILITIES

1. Highly numerate.
2. Good skills in ICT applications and tools.
3. Good skills in the manipulation and reporting of data and information.
4. Ability to draw together diverse data and information strands to support analysis and reporting.
Ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships with staff and operational managers in the council, schools and commissioned services
KNOWLEDGE

1. Good knowledge of the business processes involved in delivering children’s/adults’ services.
2. Knowledge of performance management frameworks.
3. Good understanding of information governance and data protection principles and requirements
EXPERIENCE

1. Experience of collecting, collating and reporting a diverse range of data and information in a council or similar setting.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Good standard of general education.
2. Practitioner level training and skills in key ICT software packages and reporting tools.
