The post is experimental in that data cleaning tasks will be carried out to see if the function of an IT application improves. If the functionality of the application does not improve the post will terminate.
The post is limited to a maximum of 12 weeks, but maybe much shorter depending upon the impact of the work.

The work involved is repetitive, requires accuracy and an understanding of aim of the project. The post is well suited to someone returning to work, because of the uncertain length of the contract. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to understand complex instructions and work methodically.

JOB CONTEXT / REPORTING to :

1. The post is located in the Planning Division which is part of the Environment Neighbourhoods and Growth Department of Southwark Council.
2. Southwark is a central London borough which is changing rapidly being at the centre of a dynamic world city. 4. The planning service provides the statutory and strategic context for this development through the preparation of planning policy and guidance, development management and building control services, and planning enforcement CIL and s106 service.
5. This post involves improving the records held in respect of CIL and s106 cases.
