Salary: £17.82

Pay: £50 an hour all in costs.
1 Position available in the North. 1 Position available in the South.

It’s an exciting time to join Powys with a dedicated and supportive Senior Leadership Team. The service has adopted the strengths-based Signs of Safety approach along with a strong focus on the voice of the child and early help and family support.
As a Social Worker in the Assessment Team you will part of a small, friendly, close and supportive team that benefits from regular reflective supervision. Part of the role is to undertake Wellbeing Assessments and Section 47’s, with an opportunity to undertake direct work with children and their families with the Signs of Safety model. Social Workers are only required to be based in the office on duty days where they will be supported by another team member. The Assessment Team Social Workers benefit from having additional support of allocated Team Co-ordinators.
