Salary: £38 per hour

Candidates must be able to attend the office for 1 full week out of 4 for duty week. Then 1-2 days the other weeks. Must be able to work full time*

We now have opportunities to join our Assessment and Child Protection Service (ACP). The ACP team undertake assessments and investigations of any issues relating to child protection. All candidates must have recent/relevant previous experience of working within an Assessment and Child Protection Team. The service is provided by Experienced Social Workers, who carry out statutory assessments involving home visits, consulting with other professionals / practitioners and agencies, gathering information for the assessment and analysing the potential risk to any child or young person. After the completion of the assessment, the case is either closed or held to the point of transfer to the Long Term Locality Teams.
