This role will lead overall business management and administration of the Placemaking & Community Development, providing essential support and promoting best practices across various functions.

You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and high-quality support for the Head of Inclusive Economy and various service delivery teams, including Business Engagement, Local Economy, Haringey Learns, and Haringey Works; and for the Head of Placemaking on exciting placemaking initiatives in Tottenham and Wood Green.

The role will require the successful candidate to manage and maintain efficient business processes and will require collaborating with business partners and enabling services to ensure effective delivery of the Inclusive Economy Service Plan.

High-quality stakeholder engagement skills are crucial as you will oversee and coordinate communication with members, senior officers, and external funders

You will promote and deliver best practice in financial and project management and service key directorate boards to ensure programme outcomes are achieved in alignment with corporate objectives.

Degree or relevant professional qualification or experience in a relevant field.
Advanced knowledge of mainstream IT software package including MS Office suite of software.
Ability to work independently including to plan own workload, manage competing priorities and use project management methodologies to track and manage multidisciplinary projects and programmes contemporaneously and to deadlines.
Ability to manage complex programmes including budgets, timelines, and evaluation and impact measurement.
Demonstrated experience in budget and financial administration.
Knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR) and safeguarding requirements.
Knowledge and experience of reporting on projects.

Presentation skills, report writing and data analysis for a wide range of audiences.
Ability to deliver to required standards and deadlines under pressure.
Excellent organisational skills.
Knowledge of the Placemaking and/or Inclusive Economy and/or Estate
Regeneration policy and delivery areas.
Ability to build effective networks and relationships with a range of colleagues.
Experience
Experience of producing reports of the highest level of professional presentation and accuracy, in a clear and succinct manner.
Experience of a business management and/or business support role for complex projects and programmes.
Experience supporting Heads of Service and/or Directors in a fast-paced environment.
Experience of grant funding reporting, monitoring and drawdowns.
Experience using SAP or similar financial management tool.
Experience of transactional financial management.
Experience of recruitment, procurement and other enabling functions
